Born and raised in New Jersey, USA, Michael has always possessed a deep-seated creative drive. While artistic expression has long been a personal passion, the launch of his private studio, Maione Fine Art, marks an exciting new chapter in his life.Michael’s approach to visual art is refreshingly intuitive. As a completely self-taught artist, his techniques are not bound by traditional academic rules but are instead guided by an innate, instinctual understanding of color and composition.

There is nothing quite like the unbridled creativity of young minds.In May 2026, Michael had the privilege of visiting Applegarth Elementary School in Monroe Township, NJ to lead an art class and share his creative process with the students.They explored the rhythm and movement of painting, breaking down how a blank canvas transforms into a vibrant landscape.Seeing the students dive into the medium, experimenting with color and exploring their own artistic voices, was an incredibly rewarding experience for Michael and the staff!"It is always an honor to step out of the studio and help foster the next generation of visual artists in my community." Recovering from hand surgery is a daunting prospect, especially when your hands are the very tools you use to bring canvases to life.When Michael began his rehabilitation, He needed a team that understood not just the mechanics of healing, but the importance of getting him back to the easel. Michael found exactly that at Atlantic Physical Therapy in Monroe Township, NJ.Michael's physical therapist, Kevin, was instrumental in his recovery.His professionalism and deep knowledge of hand therapy gave Michael the confidence that he would soon be able to hold his brushes and mix his acrylics without limitation again.
From the moment Michael walked in, Lisa, the receptionist, always set a tone of genuine warmth.Her welcoming demeanor and caring service made every visit a pleasant experience, creating an environment that truly supported the healing process.
